My opinion on Abby Slunderland’s trip around the world is that the parents were irresponsible to let Abby go alone out into the sea for 6 months. I think this was a bad idea because she is a 16 year old girl in the middle of the sea with high winds, big waves, and sharks and wildlife. She is so lucky that somebody recused her because if nobody did she might have died in the middle ocean alone.
Bad Idea
When I hear or think about this tory I think its a bad idea here is why. Abby is a 16 year old girl that doesn’t even have her drivers license and is traveling around the world in a SAILBOAT alone in the middle of the winter, that doesn’t seem right .Abby may have excellent sailing skills, but the elements at sea are too harsh for and 16 year old. She is so extremely lucky that a rescue boat saved her because if she didn’t what would have happened? This is why I think this whole trip was a bad idea.

I agree with this because when you have a child you should teach them and guide them to be mature and safe so you can do the right thing. At one point in your life as a parent you have to step up and say no! I’m sorry but everybody has to be the bad guy sometime in their life. In my opinion, I think saying no or telling your kid to wait until they are older is better then putting her out into the sea alone and almost dying.
